Advanced Nitrox Diver
This course examines the use of EAN 21 through 100% (oxygen) for dives not requiring staged decompression to a depth of 45 msw. Decompression techniques maybe combined with this course at the discretion of the Instructor.
During this course the student receives a more in depth study of EAN and upon successful completion of the course is able to engage in diving activities utilising EAN 21 through 100% oxygen without direct supervision.
Upon successful completion of this course, students are qualified to enroll in:
- TDI Decompression Procedures Course
- TDI Extended Range Course
As well as all the information covered in BASIC NITROX, the ADVANCED course covers:
Classroom - Open Water - Oxygen Experience dives using nitrox
- CNS tracking various nitrox mixes.
- OTU tracking Decompression
- Best mix maths techniques
- Dive planning
- Exam
Equipment Needed:
All normal diving equipment plus pony bottle and regulator and delayed surface marker buoy. Pony bottle and regulator does not have to be O2 cleaned. We can supply a limited amount of pony bottles and regulators.
The qualified ADVANCED NITROX DIVER may purchase any mix up to 100%
