Underwater Photographer - Next Course: Call for details

Come and capture your imagination on film !! The course covers cameras, set-ups, techniques and theory..plus handy tips from your experienced instructor. Two open water dives allow you to practice techniques and apply your knowledge...film processing is also included !!!

Dry Suit Diver - Next Course: Call for details

The dry suit diver will keep you warm especially from the wind but diving techniques are very different from those used with wet suits. The dry suit diver specialty is strongly recommended for those divers contemplating purchasing a dry suit. The course will cover the theory of dry suit diving, and two open water dives.

Enriched Air Diver - Next Course: Call for details

The primary purpose of enriched air diving is to extend no decompression limits, particularly between depths of 15 - 30 metres where time is short if using compressed air ! Becoming a PADI certified enriched air diver will allow you to obtain enriched air to 40% and safely spend more time at your favourite dive sites !! This course will teach you the theory of oxygen enriched air, guide you through how to plan and execute safe "Nitrox" dives and includes two open water dives with our Instructors.

Wreck Diver - Next Course: call for details

This course is designed to be an introduction to wreck diving and to help you develop the skills necessary for safe wreck diving. Four dives will be made on local wrecks offering a variety of history, features and marine life.

Deep Diver - Next Course: call for details

This course covers the knowledge, skills and techniques for deeper diving to a maximum depth of 40 metres. The course will include planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of deep diving. A video and theory session will also include the risk factors, decompression tables review, safety stops, emergency decompression procedures, special equipment, flying after diving and an orientation to recompression chambers.

Four open water dives will be made.

Underwater Navigator - Next Course: call for details

Where am I? Where is the boat?

This course will introduce you to successful underwater navigation techniques including planning, organisation, techniques, problems, hazards, estimating distance, natural navigation, underwater patterns, dive site relocation and compass navigation techniques. Three dives will make putting theory into practice.

This course is intended to familiarise divers with the operation and maintenance of equipment. The course will cover the theory, principles and operation of diving equipment, routine maintenance, equipment storage, common problems and an introduction to new equipment.

It is recommended that Divemaster candidates enroll on this programme.

Night Diver - Next Course: call for details

Experience the beauty of Cornish nocturnal marine life. Our night diver speciality course will include three night dives covering the planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, navigation, communication, dive lights, disorientation, emergency procedures and an orientation to nocturnal aquatic life.

Drift Diver - Call for details

The PADI drift diver speciality will cover the knowledge and techniques of drift diving. Two dives will be made from our custom dive boat and a theory session will be conducted by one of our PADI instructors.

Master Scuba Diver

The Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest non instructional rating in the PADI system. It is an expert-diver classification that denotes superior achievement.

To be certified as a Master Scuba Diver, candidates must be a PADI Rescue Diver and have attained five PADI Speciality ratings.

Candidates who attain five of their speciality ratings with us will receive free certification. Those candidates who attain the five speciality ratings with other dive stores will be subject to a £15-processing fee.
